Just topped off the Pinot Noir this morning and did some topical cleaning of the demijon's, nothing too drastic, but those fruit flies have kicked up again.
Then brought in a hose and reel as we'll need it for equipment cleaning when we decant/rack in a coule of weeks and, whaddya know, it attaches to the faucet.
Shall we do a webcast? this is possible with a webcam on a laptop - yes we are wi-fi down here too, so it is feasible.
I also remembered to top up the San Giovese that we'll be drinking up at christmas. I topped it up in the barrel from what I decanted out of one of the two remaining gallons jugs of it - it tool two bottles to top it up in the barrel - so it's keeping to its bottle a month. I took the opportunity to take a sip - very nice.
Anyhow, a competition now. Can you guess what it is that is featured in the video clip? It's a very useful piece of winery equipment we use a lot.
