Wine Specs, Locks, Wine Economics & ANTON

Got the specs off for the wine pump, hoses and clamps and sundry fittings. About $1,600 so far.
Also put in the deadbolt lock for the winery door to demonstrate we're protecting the revenue.
Also got sent info on a journal published by Wine Economists - who would've thought ? Apparently they just research the economics of wine and meet up all over the world doing it too. Nice one!
Issue one is out now - nice piece on wine pricing and quality and how non-experts always rank cheaper wines better as they're not tainted by establishe drankings etc.
I'll have to put in the link to this useful site for you. I was thinking that even though we may not understand what they were going on about they might be some useful stuff to help us with our economics. Do not be put off by the mathematical equations.
Michael is trying to put together a meeting for Wednesday. We'll discuss ordering equipment, a deadline for Marty to install the sink, reducing the blends to 3, 1 being a straight varietal, funding, calendar of events and some ad hoc items.
Anton continues to persevere with his condition and pain. It's really unsettling to have one of us so suddenly fall so sick. The last time I felt so helpless and inadequate was when Cynthia was giving birth to my Anton. I'm not a control freak, I just don't like being in positions of helplessness. We hope he recovers enough to participate in this year's crush. Everyone asks after him and wishes him well, in fact I'll take the opportunity to pass on sympathy, kind regards and expressions of care from Greg H, Cynthia G, Kimberly S, Kay H, Tim W, Ron S, Will A, Jan B, Scott M and Joe S. Get well, Anton. And just to make him feel better, T has reverted to type, says G.
And just so he knows we're looking after him - Cynthia and Sue did a medicine wheel for Anton last week and i fhe wants, she'll come by and do a healing - remember when she took all the pain out of your hand when you burned it?
