All Done for this Season (mostly)

We are out of primary fermentation now and the wine is in secondary fermentation tanks in the barrel room. The main room will now return to being a big open performance and wedding reception space, once we get our equipment back into storage.

We thanked those who helped crush grapes, but now a huge thanks to those that helped with daily punch-downs of the grape mash (must), pumping out wine to secondary, then shoveling grape mash into the press to press out what wine was still locked up in the mash, and then cleaned up.

Here they are, the Press Gang;

Jeff (One of our Grooms and now gets involved in all wine operations);
Cate (aka Button le Bouton, who brings a dancer's grace to the effort);
David and Carrie (inventors and artists);
Jaymie (hip-hop dance Queen and one of our Brides); and
Jerry (a great all-rounder that makes up for our lack of general contractor skills).

Also, thanks to James (Catering by Scott) who prepped and provided us with lamb cutlets for Saturday's work.
