Well, it really does seem like it's all about the label. We haven't even go to the point of bottle on the shelf and yet the label dominates the activity at the moment.
Front Label
We think we're done. However experience shoes there's always "something".
Back Label
Broke out of a Catch-22 situation by taking bull by horns and drawing up the back label ourselves. All we need do now if point to each design element of it and specify size, font etc etc etc.
Photo
Peter's on for Monday. That's when we go have our group photo taken for the back label. We may as well post it on the blog, as a preview type of thing - or should we reserve that for those who're on the email list?
Foil Spinner.
We're doing metal/foil caps so we've closed on a foil spinner. Used - obtained via the classifieds in Winebiz.com. An over-engineered piece of kit if ever there was one for what it does. At least we're bringing it in for well under the usual price.
Bordeaux bottling
Bottled more of the private bordeaux stash from 2005.
