It looks like Saturday 29 is when we'll crush those grapes to make our wine. However, it may slip a week due to transportation.
Michael's working on evites for people, but just in case he doesn't get that done in time, you know now.
Quite a bit's happened on the equipment front over the last week or so...
Grape Handling.
Two things here 1), Marty went out into the virtual world of our collective thoughts and brought back into the physical world two platforms that stand along both sides of our grape crusher, such that they can receive two bins of pre-sorted grapes and tip the bins into the hopper of the grape crusher and 2), Mike found a roller-conveyor, so he and Paolo went to Cleveland on Friday night to collect it. This conveyor will work to help with getting cases of grape to the sorting table and the bins of sorted grapes from the sorting tables to Marty's platforms.
Rear Label Design.
Anton's geared up to meet Kim on Tuesday to run through rear label design. Kim had produced four versions of a specification we had provided her and, naturally, inevitably, we'd like to explore a few changes.
Below you will see pictures of The Plan for placement of equipment for crush day and a marked up printout of a rear label to work from with Kim.
